I don’t know how to find the xq35jo of the port. Dell does not seem to have a fix for this. Loading your existing OS with a new motherboard should be OK but if it’s an OEM version of Windows it may refuse to activate, in which case you’ll need to liaise with Microsoft explaining what you’ve intel dq35jo pci serial port to obtain a new code.

I don’t know if it porh under Windows 7, but you could try it. Sorry this didn’t help. This tool uses JavaScript and much of it will not work correctly without it enabled.

You don’t have JavaScript enabled. The basic board spec shows it does not have a Serial port.

If you read the driver page it informs that if these drivers are not installed it shows as missing drivers for a Simple Communications controller. Thanks for your help.
